This image underwent several iterations from the original photo before arriving at this highly abstracted digital print version. It owes something to Mondrian in its geometric simplicity but still retains the feeling of the original cityscape and the cluster of buildings. We can see the famous Sheffield landmark, St John’s Hyde Park in the background, with the newer place of worship, the Mosque in the Don Valley foreground.
