This is a large canvas piece (over 5 feet square), based on childhood memories of reading the Billy Bunter books by Frank Richards. It incorporates the use of various different media, including spray paint, marker, acrylic and oil paint, to evoke something of the halftone comic book printing techniques and the soft gentle experience of summertime reading when young.
